Radiographs are a necessary part of check-ups and treatments because they can reveal potential issues that are invisible when just using a visual exam. However, traditional X-rays came with several problems – they had to be developed tediously in a darkroom with the help of hazardous chemicals, and they exposed the patient to a significant amount of radiation. Today, our digital radiography system makes this process much easier and safer. Radiographs are instantly visible on a nearby chairside monitor, and they can even be color-coded, rotated, and transferred to other offices for the patient’s convenience. Better yet, they’re safer for the environment, and the amount of radiation exposure is reduced up to 90%.
