Dr. Alison Mlodik completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, while completing her dental degree at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
Dr. Mlodik is an active member in a multitude of dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Distinguishing herself professionally, Dr. Mlodik takes pride in being certified as a Fellow AGD (FAGD) within the Academy of General Dentistry, committing to oral care that goes above and beyond. Only about six percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada hold this certification, which involves completing over 500 credit hours of continuing education, live course, and passing an exam equal in difficulty to board certification exams. Along with this, Dr. Mlodik is an American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM) Diplomat, which is widely recognized as the gold standard for excellence in dental sleep medicine. Dentists who hold this credential have demonstrated that they have the skills and knowledge essential for the delivery of patient care. The ABDSM believes higher standards for dental sleep medicine translate into better care for patients and greater accountability.
As a dedicated dentist, Dr. Mlodik truly cares about meeting the needs of her patients and values the history of the practice. Away from the office, you can find Dr. Mlodik spending time with her five boys, enjoying her family’s hobby farm, as well as camping and fishing.
